For Summer School, the application deadline for the Jul 2027 intake is Mar 1, 2027.

The Summer School at the Dutch National Ballet Academy is designed for ballet students aged 12 to 21. This program offers a unique opportunity to enhance your ballet skills through intensive training and workshops. Students will engage in various classes, including classical ballet, repertoire, and contemporary workshops led by renowned choreographers. This program is ideal for those who are passionate about ballet and eager to learn from industry professionals.

Participants in the Senior Course (ages 15-21) will experience a two-week program that includes classical ballet, solo and pas de deux classes, and open talks on career development. The Junior Course (ages 12-14) offers a week-long experience focusing on classical ballet, body conditioning, and repertoire classes. Each course is structured to help students develop their technical skills and artistic expression.

Graduates of the Summer School can pursue various career paths in the dance industry, including roles as professional dancers, ballet instructors, or choreographers. Many students go on to join prestigious ballet companies or continue their education in dance. The skills acquired during this program are transferable to numerous opportunities within the performing arts sector.
