Bachelor in Subterra

Subterra is a Bachelor’s thesis project at the Westsächsiche Hochschule Zwickau, focusing on textile design and the relationship between textiles and the human body. Students create designs that explore the tactile, sensory and functional aspects of textiles, leading to a final product that may be a textile-based object, installation, or piece of clothing.

The programme emphasises practical, hands-on experience, with students having access to extensive workshops and state-of-the-art equipment which are essential for the development of their artistic and creative skills. Additionally, the programme promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, which is reflected in the diverse range of student projects.
