This track centres on coaching, aimed at students who want to combine a sports career with expanding their knowledge across various aspects of how sport functions. Within the field of study, students choose one of the coaching majors in Olympic sports offered by the university, among them gymnastics, judo, basketball, athletics, handball, swimming, tennis, sailing, football, football volleyball, and rowing, alongside other disciplines. As the only sports university in Pomerania, GUPES combines instruction from recognized scientists and specialists relevant to each field of study with coaches of Olympic and national teams and accomplished athletes. The university describes its teaching offer as modern, wide, and varied. Students may choose a specialisation from a broad range designed to match labour-market needs and can supplement it with further specialisations. During the programme, students take up one of the university's coaching specialisations, or, instead of a single training specialisation, they can choose two instructor specialisations, or an instructor specialisation together with another one, to increase their competences and competitiveness in the labour market. Training specialisations include gymnastics, judo, basketball, and bodybuilding, among others. Graduates leave equipped to coach at various levels within their chosen sport, combining sport-specific technical training with the broader academic content covered across GUPES's sport science programmes, positioning them for coaching, instruction, and related roles across amateur and competitive sport settings.
