In the second semester, the Internet of Things module gives you five credits of hands-on work with micro-processors, sensors and cloud services, allowing you to build and test prototype applications that link real-world devices to the internet. The module blends theory with a laboratory platform where you design, programme and troubleshoot IoT solutions for scenarios of your choice.

Throughout the three-year programme you spend each week in a mix of lectures, programming labs and studio sessions. Early semesters develop foundational skills in computer systems, mathematics and introductory programming, while later semesters focus on operating systems, networks and object-oriented development. A mandatory Design Thinking module adds a human-centred approach, encouraging creative problem-solving and visual communication alongside technical work.
