Bachelor in Softboiled

The Softboiled project, part of the Holzgestaltung programme, is a culminating effort of students studying wood design at the Fachhochschule Zwickau. This project is one of several final-year efforts, such as 'notch & novel' and 'SPIN TWIN', that demonstrate the culmination of students' learning and experimentation in materials and design.

Students are encouraged to explore the materiality, durability, and sustainability of wood while tackling real-world design problems. They are exposed to workshops and labs in the department, which facilitate practical experience and expertise.

This project, like the others, is a tangible demonstration of the students' ability to create impactful, meaningful, and sustainable design solutions.
