The Master's programme in Sociotechnical Cybersecurity at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) takes an interdisciplinary approach to protecting complex systems, combining technical depth in cybersecurity with an understanding of the human, organisational, and cultural factors that shape security outcomes. The programme covers security architectures, attack prevention, and domain-specific security expertise in three sectors: mobility, industry, and healthcare. It also addresses forward-looking topics such as post-quantum cryptography, quantum key distribution, and AI-based security mechanisms. The programme runs over four semesters, starting in the summer semester. Alongside technical content, students develop scientific and analytical skills applicable to both research and industry. Small group sizes enable individual support. Students are encouraged to engage with the cybersecurity community through international projects, competitions, and practical research. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field with 180 ECTS credits and must provide a SAT score.
