Bachelor in Social Work

Social Work students at the University of Siegen tackle evolving social problems and diverse support needs. They gain both theoretical and practical knowledge, and participate in two 50-day internship phases, with the first under guidance of a qualified specialist. Students learn to assess social issues and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. The course prepares students for roles in various fields, including working with different support groups.

Practical phases are supervised by the Praktikumsamt, which provides information on requirements, deadlines, and necessary documents, and helps with organization and suitable placements.
