This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers seeking to work in social services. Students learn practical and theoretical skills to support individuals, families, and communities. They develop abilities in needs assessment, intervention planning, and connecting clients with community resources. The programme prepares students for roles in diverse social service settings.

Four steps (in-person), six steps (distance); no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter careers in social service organizations such as shelters, youth group homes, employment assistance programs, and child welfare agencies.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent; one French credit (FIF4U, FRA4C, FRA4U, or equivalent); English language proficiency required if DESO not submitted.

On-campus (four steps), online (six steps); full-time only.
