Programme Profile

The Social Work Programme aims to: Equip students with the appropriate knowledge, skills and values ​​to enable them to function effectively in a pluralistic, intercultural and interdisciplinary environment. Prepare students for postgraduate and doctoral education in Social Work and related sciences. Combine theoretical, clinical and practical training to apply assessment and intervention techniques to a variety of social and psycho-emotional difficulties.

Offer students the ability to collaborate with other health and welfare professionals to maintain the social and mental health of service users. Equip graduates with skills to understand and participate in research in the fields of Social Work, Social Administration and Social Policy. Delve into the most modern research trends in the field of Social Work and Social Policy.

Promote the cultivation of critical thinking and the development of an informed reasoning that guides clinical decisions in both prevention and intervention in crisis situations.
