Social Services Worker

This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers seeking to work in social services. Students learn practical and theoretical skills to support individuals, families, and communities. The curriculum covers needs assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with community resources. Graduates are prepared for roles in social service organizations across Canada.

4 semesters on campus, 5 semesters distance education, includes practicum.

Graduates enter careers in shelters, group homes, children's aid societies, and community organizations.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent. 1 French credit required. English language proficiency test required if OSSD not obtained.

On-campus and online, full-time, duration varies by format.
