This one-year program is delivered in a hybrid format with full-time study. It begins in May and includes a seven-week summer semester followed by two regular academic semesters. Students gain professional knowledge and skills to support vulnerable populations through practical interventions and strength-based approaches. The curriculum covers mental health, crisis management, bias awareness, counselling, community development, and relevant legislation.

3 Semesters (12 Months), Ontario College Diploma, Hybrid delivery, includes an unpaid field placement in person over second and third semesters.

Graduates can work in agencies, shelters, schools, criminal justice systems, mental health services, developmental services, food and income security programs, and residential programs.

Prior education or experience required. International students must meet English language requirements. Documents include transcripts and proof of English proficiency.
