Master in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design

The Master of Design (MDes) in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design is a one-year practice- and research-led master’s that cultivates independent designers who challenge conventions and expand the boundaries of jewellery and metalwork. Studio learning is framed as a dynamic space where materials, processes, and ideas are explored through creative experimentation and critical reflection. Designed for those with prior experience in jewellery, silversmithing, or related disciplines, the programme builds on existing expertise while deepening engagement with design thinking, research, and craftsmanship.
