Accredited by the British Psychological Society, this BSc (Hons) programme gives graduates the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership. It is aimed at students who are keen to understand how the mind influences athletic performance and who wish to pursue careers in sports psychology, coaching or athlete development.

No written exams – assessment is through coursework and practical work.

The degree runs for three full-time years (four and a half part-time). In the first year you study core psychology foundations and an introduction to sport and exercise psychology; the second year expands your knowledge with modules on individual differences, research methods and applied psychology; the final year includes a research project and work-based learning, allowing you to apply theory in real-world settings.
