PSSP to IAA Pathway

This pathway is delivered entirely online in an asynchronous format with continuous intake. It is designed for current PSSP workers seeking to become authorized IAA in Ontario. The programme consists of six courses that build foundational knowledge in nursing theory, anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical practice. Completion allows direct entry into a four-session advanced IAA programme at a public college.

Six courses, no co-op or practicum stated, delivered online with continuous intake.

Graduates are eligible to enter an advanced IAA programme and become eligible to write the OIIA registration exam.

Canadian citizenship, permanent residence, or work permit in Ontario; PSSP diploma from Ontario with minimum 65% average; five years of PSSP work in Ontario; secondary level French and English courses with equivalent grades.
