About Power Engineering

Tuition is International student tuition fees are listed in the college's fee schedule, which includes costs for books, materials, and certification exams..

Graduates are qualified to become licensed power engineers in Prince Edward Island. The programme provides training in power engineering through face-to-face classes and hands-on experience. Students learn to operate and maintain power systems and equipment. The programme includes on-the-job training and uses a thermal generating plant simulator.

Two academic terms per year; includes on-the-job training; no co-op or practicum mentioned beyond OJT.

Graduates become licensed power engineers after passing the provincial certification exams.

No prior experience required. International students must meet English language requirements and provide official transcripts.

On-campus, full-time, two terms per year.
