This programme prepares students to work as pharmacy technicians in community and hospital settings. Students learn to support pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing patient care. The curriculum includes classroom instruction, lab work, and hands-on practicum experiences. Graduates are prepared to meet national standards for entry into practice.

Focus areas include Community Pharmacy Practice, Hospital and Institutional Pharmacy Practice, Sterile and Non-sterile Compounding, Pharmacy Law and Ethics, Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Inventory Management.

Two academic years of full-time study. Includes blended delivery with classroom, laboratory, simulation, and applied workplace experiences. Practicum is required to graduate.

Graduates enter roles as pharmacy technicians in community pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Foundations of Mathematics 110, Biology 112 or 122, Chemistry 112 or 122. International applicants must provide proof of English proficiency at a higher standard than most programs.

On-campus, blended delivery. Full-time study. Duration: two academic years.
