This programme is designed for individuals seeking a career in parts management across industrial and mechanical sectors. Students learn to identify, catalogue, and handle parts used in trucks, tractors, plumbing, and electrical systems. They gain hands-on experience with inventory systems, ordering, receiving, inspecting shipments, and pricing. The training combines classroom instruction with on-the-job work experience.

Three years with a minimum of 1,500 hours of on-the-job training per year and six to eight weeks of classroom instruction annually.

Graduates work as parts technicians in automotive, heavy duty, farm implements, industrial, recreational vehicle, plumbing, and electrical industries.

ELA 30-2 and Math 30-3, or ELA 10-2 and Math 10-3, or pass on all five Canadian GED tests, or successful completion of AIT’s entrance exam.

On-campus and online delivery, full-time, three-year duration.
