Master in Paralysie cérébrale et pathologies associées

This Diplôme Inter-Universitaire (DIU) is based at the Institut de la Motricité Cérébrale (IMC) in Paris, France. It focuses on improving medical care for individuals with cerebral palsy and associated conditions.

Students will engage with epidemiology and pathophysiology, informed by current research. They will learn to diagnose and manage cerebral palsy and associated conditions through clinical, ethical, and practical approaches.

This programme equips students to develop an interdisciplinary approach to care for cerebral palsy and associated conditions, based on their own needs and the needs of their families.

This programme trains medical doctors and paramedical professionals in evaluating and treating physical, sensory, and cognitive deficits, as well as managing daily life.

This programme is taught in Paris and Saint-Etienne, with 210 hours of teaching across two years. It includes 126 hours of lectures, 84 hours of tutorials and 70 hours of practical work, with 3 days spent at the medical centre Kerpape in Paris.
