at FH Dortmund is unique for its emphasis on quantitative methods and its specialisation in RISK & FINANCE and ACCOUNTING & TAXATION. This three-semester programme focuses on the increasing complexity of financial services and corporate planning, emphasising the importance of quantitative, mathematical-statistical methods. Supported by Prof. Joachim Eggers, students gain a scientific foundation and practical skills in areas such as financial management, accounting, controlling, tax management, auditing, risk management, and insurance, alongside key soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Students learning in the Risk & Finance profile tackle modules like Quantitative Methods & Data Analytics and Computational Finance.
