Graduates are qualified to work as mining exploration and prospecting technicians. The programme trains students in practical and theoretical skills for geological exploration activities. Students learn to conduct field surveys, collect rock and soil samples, and use geospatial tools and equipment. They gain expertise in mapping, sampling, and data analysis for mineral deposit evaluation.

4 steps, full-time, on-campus, 2 years, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter careers in mining exploration, drilling companies, government agencies, consulting firms, or as entrepreneurs in the mining sector.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, with one credit in French and one credit in math. International applicants must provide English language proficiency if they do not have an OSSD.
