Master in Medizinische Physik MSC

Students in the htw saar programme Medizinische Physik acquire the necessary fundamental knowledge in the first semester. Building on that, students learn about the application of ionising radiation in medicine, including options to specialise in areas such as medical optics, laser medicine, and ultrasound. The curriculum integrates practical modules led by chief physicians and leading medical physicists at the CaritasKlinik. The programme prepares students for roles in research, development, and technical leadership, with a particular focus on the use of ionising radiation in medicine, such as in strahlentherapie, nuklearmedizin, and röntgendiagnostik.
