Master in Medieningenieurwissenschaften

Inaugurated for Winter semester 2023/2024, the Medieningenieurwissenschaften (MIW) Master's programme at TU Ilmenau builds on the university's reputation for media technology. The programme combines engineering and media science, equipping students with the skills to develop new media technologies and applications, and to understand how these technologies are designed, produced, and distributed. TU Ilmenau has a strong relationship with industry, with the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology and other industry partners involved in research and teaching. Students will work in the MediaLab and the MediaLab HD, gaining hands-on experience with the latest technology in audio, video, and data processing.
