This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers seeking entry into medical laboratory support roles. Students learn blood sample collection, phlebotomy, ECGs, and lab equipment operation. They gain hands-on training in clinical hematology, transfusion science, chemistry, microbiology, and histotechnology. The programme prepares students to perform pre-analysis lab tasks under supervision.

3 Semesters / 1 Year, 45 Credits, includes a 7-week clinical placement.

Graduates work as medical laboratory assistants or technicians in hospitals, physicians' offices, private labs, and research facilities.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent, including grade 12 English (C or U), grade 12 mathematics (C or U), grade 12 chemistry (C or U), and grade 11 or 12 biology (U or C). International students must meet additional requirements including immunizations and criminal record checks.
