Mechanical Millwright Technician

Students install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery through hands-on lab work and practical projects. They learn to read mechanical drawings, use measuring instruments, and perform tasks like welding and rigging. The program includes internships where students apply classroom knowledge in real work settings. Graduates gain skills in hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors, and drive systems.

Graduates enter careers in manufacturing, mining, forestry, and the service industry as mechanical millwright technicians.

Mechanical Techniques certificate or Ontario Secondary School Diploma with 1 French credit and 1 mathematics credit. English language proficiency required if no OSSD. International applicants must meet these requirements.

On-campus, full-time, 4 semesters.
