The MBA in Innovation Management at Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences is a four-semester distance learning programme designed for working professionals who want to lead innovation processes within their organisations. It runs in both winter and summer semesters and is structured to allow students to continue working alongside their studies. The first two semesters cover general management and business fundamentals, including financial methods, marketing, communication, and leadership. The third semester focuses on specialised innovation topics: process design, business model innovation, open innovation, frugal innovation, intellectual property management, leadership in innovation-friendly cultures, creativity methods, organisational design, and systematic innovation methods such as TRIZ and design thinking.
