Master's in Mathematics International

The Master's in Mathematics International at RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau is a four-semester English-taught programme that allows students to specialise in one of five areas: Algebra, Geometry and Computer Algebra; Analysis and Stochastics; Financial Mathematics, Statistics and Probability; Industrial Mathematics: Modelling and Scientific Computing; or Optimisation. Students choose their specialisation at the point of application. The programme can begin in either the winter or summer semester, though it typically starts in the winter semester. The fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. German language courses are integrated into the programme, and students who do not speak German are required to demonstrate basic German proficiency through an internal exam within one year of enrolment.
