About the Program

The Master's in Entrepreneurship at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is structured around a three-phase journey: Explore and Equip, Build and Validate, and Launch and Level Up. The first phase develops business fundamentals, sustainability concepts, and leadership skills. The second phase covers trend identification, business model development, prototype building, and funding strategy. The third phase centres on a 12-week Business Plan Seminar in which students develop a full start-up project, refine a pitch deck, and receive feedback from founders and experts. The programme lasts 24 months and is divided into eight terms of three months each. The first academic year takes place at HHL in Leipzig. In the second year, students can choose between a term abroad at one of more than 140 partner universities, an internship, or participation in the Digital Space Incubation Programme. The Master's thesis is completed in the final term and may focus on the student's own venture or a real-world entrepreneurial challenge. Students have access to HHL DIGITAL SPACE, the school's incubator and digital innovation platform, as well as SpinLab, an accelerator. The programme begins in the winter semester and is taught at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Leipzig.
