Master's in Construction and Real Estate Management (ConREM)

The Master's in Construction and Real Estate Management (ConREM) is an English-taught joint degree programme run by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki and HTW Berlin. Students spend the first year in Helsinki and the second year in Berlin, following a single shared curriculum and graduating with one joint German-Finnish degree. The programme spans four semesters and begins in the winter semester. The curriculum builds from technical foundations in the first year — modules such as Sustainable Development and Renovation and Reconstruction — toward management and communication courses in the second year that draw those technical threads together. Graduates are expected to understand and manage complex relationships across the building industry, spanning economics, law, and sustainability. Students work in international cohorts of up to 40 people representing as many as 25 nationalities. The programme holds accreditation from ACQUIN (Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute), and graduates who meet the professional experience requirement receive the joint German-Finnish degree title; those who do not receive the German degree from HTW Berlin. The programme is based at HTW Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
