Master Soziale Arbeit und Teilhabe

The Masterstudiengang Soziale Arbeit und Teilhabe at the RWU is accredited and spans 3 semesters or up to 6 semesters in part-time study. It focuses on key issues in social work, including inclusion and social justice, with a particular emphasis on working with diverse groups such as young and elderly people, those with disabilities, and migrants. This program integrates theoretical and practical elements, fostering innovative thinking and research-oriented learning. The curriculum includes modules on social work theory, sociological foundations, and legal frameworks, as well as practical methods for intervention at various levels, including individual, organizational, and political. Students are supported in developing their own professional paths and in implementing new ideas and projects in teams. The program is led by Prof. Dr. Monika Schröttle and includes projects such as the development of a violence protection concept for residential and workshop facilities for people with disabilities.
