Secondary schooling raises questions about how young people engage with subjects such as English, mathematics, science and history, and how teachers can respond to diverse classroom needs. This Master of Teaching (Secondary) enables graduates from non-teaching backgrounds to develop the knowledge and skills required to teach Years 7-12 and to address those questions in practice.

From the first month of study you undertake professional experience placements, totalling 60 days, with an optional rural or remote placement, and you benefit from on-campus tutorials, workshops and school-based activities. The degree is nationally accredited as a professional teaching qualification, allowing graduates to register and teach in NSW public, religious and private schools.
