Master of Philosophy - SMAH (Nursing)

The application deadline is International: 9 December 2025 (Autumn), 5 May 2026 (Spring); Domestic: 31 December 2025 (Autumn), 31 May 2026 (Spring), while tuition comes to 30,200 USD per year.

The Master of Philosophy invites students to explore fundamental questions in health, biology, chemistry, earth and environmental science, medicine and nursing through original research. It suits graduates who wish to develop scholarly expertise and contribute new knowledge within a discipline of the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health.

The programme runs over two years of full-time study (or an equivalent part-time schedule) and culminates in an independent research project that is presented as a thesis. Candidates may receive up to 24 credit points of advanced standing if they hold a relevant coursework master’s or four-year honours degree, and fee-subsidised places are available for eligible students.
