Graduates of Bond University’s Master of Architecture (Professional) find roles in both Australia and internationally as architects, urban planners, and researchers addressing real-world scenarios and global challenges. International academic-practitioners mentor students in the Abedian School of Architecture building, providing a creative, hands-on learning environment with a focus on real-world scenarios and addressing urban, environmental, social and technological change on a global scale. With a 6-semester duration, the program includes a 12-week Professional Portfolio subject which may include an internship or professional research project, providing students with highly relevant preparation for the workplace.

The Master of Architecture (Professional) encompasses a series of design studios, a master’s thesis studio, and a final professional portfolio subject. Students will complete a design thesis and develop skills in architectural design, as well as gain hands-on experience in digital making with state-of-the-art tools and facilities. The program also includes off-campus study tours, a monthly guest-lecture series, and collaborations with distinguished faculty.
