Master MEEF Professeurs des écoles

The Master « Métiers de l’enseignement, de l’éducation et de la formation » (MEEF) 1er degré includes a 18-week placement, which allows students to observe and practice teaching under the guidance of an experienced professor. This hands-on experience is a key part of the curriculum and helps students to build a strong foundation for their future careers as teachers. The placement is split between two years, allowing students to gradually gain confidence and expertise in the classroom. The placement is mandatory and takes place in elementary schools, providing a real-world context for learning.

This programme is offered by the Université de Guyane, through its Faculty of Education (INSPE), in French Guyanese campuses at Cayenne and Saint-Laurent du Maroni. This programme is designed to prepare students to sit for the Concours de Recrutement au Professorat des Écoles (CRPE).
