The Master Ecologie Biodiversite programme at Université de Picardie Jules Verne is affiliated with the Pôle de Compétitivité IAR (Industries et Agroressources), which focuses on industries and agroressources. This programme covers the management of ecosystems, biodiversity, and sustainable land use, integrating both fundamental and applied research. Students acquire expertise in ecological management, environmental indicators, and ecological assessments, as well as the impact of human activities on biodiversity. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of environmental professionals and researchers, with a strong emphasis on practical skills and professional integration. The programme includes a significant amount of hands-on experience through stages of 2 months in the first year and 6 months in the second year. The programme is structured into four semesters, each contributing 30 ECTS, and includes a final year stage that is exclusively dedicated to a professional internship. The programme includes a minimum of 150 hours of common teaching modules provided in the first year.
