Graduates from the Master Chimie Durable Organique programme at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) are prepared for work as ingénieurs d'études/de recherche, ingénieurs gestion de projets, ingénieurs d'application en instrumentation, or further study in doctoral programmes. The first year of the programme includes 24 ECTS in Chimie organique avancée, 3 ECTS in Ressources, éco-conception et recyclage des matériaux, and a 6-month stage in either a university or industrial lab, in France or abroad.

This programme has a strong focus on sustainable chemistry, including modules on bioraffineries and les systèmes pour le stockage et la conversion de l'énergie. It is also accredited by the European Doctoral School of Sciences, Technologies, Santé, and has links to the ESENSE project.
