Three specialist tracks — Infectiology, Neuroscience, and Tissue Systems — anchor the Master Biologie Santé, a two-year degree with a research focus and a professionalisation goal.

All three paths emphasise a transdisciplinary approach to research, equipping students with the methodologies most suited to their investigation of complex biological systems. This is done through both thematic modules and an extensive research project.

The University of Picardy Jules Verne, based in Amiens, is home to the programme. Students are required to complete two six-week research internships and a six-month thesis as part of their coursework.

French is the primary language of instruction, with many modules also offered in English, and students are encouraged to publish their research in English. The Master in Health Biology is a research-oriented degree that prepares students for careers in research, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry. It also offers a pathway to a doctorate programme.
