The MA New Media Design programme at the UE connects technology, art, and critical practice to explore immersive worlds, spatial narratives, AI, sound, and interactive environments. You will develop experimental projects with cultural, poetic, political, or commercial impact, through collaborative studio work and real-world engagement.

You will engage with peers from diverse creative and technical backgrounds, developing projects that respond to contemporary cultural, ecological, and technological questions. Industry partnerships, exhibitions, and public presentations provide opportunities to test your ideas in real contexts and build a professional portfolio that reflects both your creative vision and technical expertise.

The programme is based in Berlin, allowing you to work on projects across multiple platforms, including web, mobile and interactive media.
