The curriculum builds on the basics of interactions between radiation and matter, fundamental to both diagnostic and therapeutic applications of medical physics. Modules like Bases méthodologiques de l'imagerie médicale and Quantification en imagerie médicale are key to understanding imaging techniques, while Dosimétrie fondamentale et physique de la radiothérapie prepares students for the precise calculations needed in radiation therapy.

Students also engage in practical sessions to develop critical programming and modelling skills. The programme also includes modules on radiobiologie and radioprotection, and introduces students to the emerging use of intelligence artificielle in medical contexts. The second semester concludes with a six-month internship, which can take place in a laboratory, hospital, or company, fostering the professional network that will be critical as students graduate into the workforce.
