Master in M2 Polymères et Biomatériaux

Graduates of the M2 Polymères et Biomatériaux programme enter careers ranging from R&D projects in the industry to academia. They are prepared to take on roles such as responsable de projets R&D or ingénieur d’études in the health, energy, and environmental sectors, among others.

The programme emphasises the design of biocompatible and biodegradable biomaterials from natural polymers, tailored for applications in health, energy, cosmetics, and food industries. It combines fundamental courses in material characterisation and data analysis with practical experience in labs and a FAB-Lab. Students undertake a stage of at least 5 months in an academic, industrial, or startup setting, fostering either doctoral studies or professional integration.

Students develop skills in synthesising and characterising polymers and biomaterials, as well as analysing data and modelling properties. They engage in projects that address molecular and supramolecular processes, and they are prepared to address environmental concerns and sustainability throughout the lifecycle of materials.
