Master in M2 Concepts Fondamentaux de la Physique

The M2 Concepts in Fundamental Physics programme at Université Paris-Saclay offers students the chance to specialise in one of four tracks: Soft Matter and Biological Physics, Theoretical Physics, Quantum Physics, and Condensed Matter. Students are immersed in the rigorous academic environment of the Paris-Saclay campus, recognised for its extensive research collaborations, and taught by faculty involved in cutting-edge research at institutions such as the Faculty of Sciences, ENS Paris-Saclay, and the Institut d'Optique.

The curriculum is designed for students with an excellent general background in physics and strong mathematical skills, who are ready to dive into advanced topics such as quantum mechanics and statistical physics. Students benefit from a high degree of flexibility, with a wide range of optional modules allowing them to tailor their studies to their specific interests.
