About Master in M2 Cognition, Behavior and Mental Disorders

Students who thrive in interdisciplinary, research-focused environments will find a home in the M2 Cognition, Behavior and Mental Disorders, which delves into the complexities of cognitive functions and their neural foundations. Its six core modules

— 'Brain plasticity, learnings and memories', 'Social cognition in normal and pathophysiological conditions', 'Methods in cognition', 'Psychiatric disorders: translational approaches and treatments', 'Human cognitive neuroscience of development', and 'Gut-brain axis in the control of eating behaviors and emotions' — provide a thorough grounding in the neural mechanisms underlying cognition and behavior. Students may choose four additional units from a menu of advanced topics in neuroscience, enabling them to tailor their learning to their specific interests. During the second semester, an intensive six-month research internship allows students to immerse themselves in a specific research project, developing advanced technical skills in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience.
