Bachelor in Licence Professionnelle Instrumentation et Maintenance Biomédicales

This 1-year programme at the IUT Lorient & Pontivy campus prepares students to master, diagnose, and manage medical devices such as respirators, defibrillators, and MRI scanners. Students learn to manage maintenance, quality, and risk, and to train healthcare staff. They also work with partners from the medical sector including engineers, technicians, and healthcare professionals.

Graduates are well-prepared for careers in hospital biomedical services or biomedical companies, with roles ranging from technicians to commercial representatives.
