Bachelor in Licence Philosophie

Students on the Licence Philosophie will be taught in the Equipe d’Accueil n° 4395 'Lettres, Idées, Savoirs' (LIS) lab, focusing on philosophy political, philosophy of the sciences, and philosophy of the environment. The programme prepares students to explore these topics in depth, as well as the philosophy of medicine, through a combination of historical and contemporary perspectives.

Students will develop skills in critical thinking, argumentation, and analysis, acquiring a general philosophical culture that encompasses the major domains of philosophy (philosophy of science, moral and political philosophy, aesthetics, metaphysics) and their historical developments. They will also master key philosophical methods, such as textual commentary and dissertation writing, and refine their written and oral expression.
