Leisure and Tourism Management

The programme lasts one academic year, typically divided into two semesters. It builds on the knowledge gained in an undergraduate degree and adds specialised content in financial management, human resources, sales and marketing, leadership, business planning, organisational behaviour and sector-specific topics such as hotel, restaurant, tourism and facility management.

It is aimed at candidates who already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to progress into managerial roles in hospitality, tourism, leisure centres, resorts, casinos, community development organisations or related industries. Graduates commonly secure positions such as hotel manager, tourism officer, facility director or advance to senior leadership study.
