Bachelor in La­tei­ni­sche Phi­lo­lo­gie (B.A.)

Students of Lateinische Philogie at Universität des Saarlandes examine the language and literature of the Romans from their beginnings to the late antiquity, and also explore Greek and post-antique European literature. The programme's breadth is illustrated by the Professionalisierungbereich, which offers
modules like Digitale Arbeitswelten, Journalismus, and Marketing to prepare students for the job market.
In addition to the academic depth, the programme fosters practical skills: students can gain insights into professional practice through a subject-specific internship, which can also be completed abroad. Latin and Greek language skills are expected of the students.
