Master in International relations

International Politics and Diplomacy is a master's programme at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland, running for two years and taught in English, with an annual tuition fee of 10400 PLN. It takes an interdisciplinary approach to international relations, politics, security, and selected aspects of international law, including humanitarian law and diplomatic law, with discussions centered on contemporary challenges such as cybersecurity, climate negotiations, military relations and strategic partnerships. The programme is delivered at the Faculty of Political Science and Security Studies, which has received the ministerial scientific category "A" in two consecutive evaluation cycles, at a university that holds the title of research university and is described among the best in Poland. Full-time master's study in the programme is intended to build English proficiency to a high level. Students can apply for scholarships available to Nicolaus Copernicus University students and can take part in student exchange opportunities, including through the ERASMUS+ programme; the Faculty has signed international agreements with over sixty partner universities. The programme is offered simultaneously to international and Polish students, giving Polish students ongoing contact with international classmates and creating a multinational learning environment across all programme activities. As with comparable programmes, this field of study builds on undergraduate training in political science or a related discipline, and graduates typically pursue careers in diplomacy, security policy, international organizations, or continue toward doctoral research.
