Bachelor in International relations

International Relations - Global and Regional Perspective is a bachelor's programme at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, running for six semesters, taught in English, with an annual tuition fee of 8000 PLN. Graduates gain extended, interdisciplinary knowledge of international relations, particularly in the international economic, social, political and legal domains, and develop the ability to analyze the attitudes and behaviours of participants in political processes along with their interactions with other parts of social life. The programme builds knowledge and skills for making independent, in-depth analyses and syntheses of processes occurring in public life, covering both the theory and practice of international relations as well as the theory and practice of political and economic decision-making. Graduates develop analytic and methodological skills suited to positions requiring careful, rational and accurate assessment and judgment, along with habits of personal responsibility and initiative. The programme also aims to instill habits of lifelong learning and professional development, preparing graduates to take on research challenges and to continue their education at the second-degree (master's) level. As with comparable programmes, the discipline draws on political science, economics, law and history, and graduates commonly move into careers in diplomacy, public administration, international organizations, and research, or proceed directly to master's study in international relations or a related field.
