Graduates of the computer graphics and multimedia specialization gain knowledge of the mathematical foundations of computer graphics, methods and algorithms used in the field, computer-assisted image analysis, computer animation, and internet graphics, along with the ability to use computer graphics applications and tools for processing two-dimensional and three-dimensional animations. Informatics as a discipline covers the theory and practice of computing, spanning software development, data management, computer graphics, and network and systems security. This program's combination of a broad technical core with two distinct specialization tracks lets students steer their study toward either software and data-focused careers or visual computing and multimedia production, depending on their interests.
