Human Sciences - Social and Global Issues

Tuition is CAD 240 per session.

This programme prepares students for university transfer in social sciences with a focus on global and societal challenges. It spans two years of full-time study, divided into three sessions per year. Students complete core courses in humanities, social sciences, and mathematics, along with elective courses to build a broad academic foundation. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and research skills through written assignments and group projects.

Students study topics such as history, sociology, political science, and global development. They explore issues like inequality, migration, climate change, and human rights. The programme includes a strong emphasis on French language and communication skills. Students also complete a research project in their final session to demonstrate their analytical and writing abilities.

Admission requires a secondary school diploma with a CST from 4th year or Math 416. Candidates must also pass a French admission test if they did not complete secondary studies in French in Quebec or France. Applications must be submitted through SRAM by March 1 for the fall session and November 1 for the winter session.
