Students operate heavy machinery in a realistic training environment on a 40-acre site. They practice trenching, grading, loading trucks, and using GPS for precise digging. They complete 100 hours of work experience with industry partners. Instructors guide students through hands-on training and safety procedures.

Focus areas include Excavator, Backhoe, Dozer, Grader, Articulated Rock Truck/Loader Combo, Articulated Rock Truck.

10 to 17 weeks; 80% hands-on training; 20% classroom; includes 100-hour work experience.

Graduates enter roles such as heavy equipment operator, civil construction worker, or forestry equipment operator.

Class 5 Driver's License required; minimum 18 years old; Grade 12 or equivalent; English 10, Science 10, and one math course; physically fit; interview or assessment may be required.

On-campus; full-time; duration varies by machine training selected.
